What partners don't change
Partners don't pay to change our data or what a page says about any model year. Every figure comes from EPA and NHTSA files, and the rules for years to avoid and best years are the same for every model, as the methodology explains.
Current partners
EpicVIN: vehicle history reports, linked under the VIN recall check on recalls pages and model pages. It is on the US Justice Department's list of approved NMVTIS data providers for consumers. A history report is paid; the recall check on NHTSA's site is free. If you typed a full VIN in that box, the link sends it to EpicVIN and opens its checkout page for that VIN.
